Design Specifications

Creativity rules! The only restriction, however, is that designs capture the essence of one of three themes: school spirit, service to others, or "where knowledge touches lives." After all, the purpose of this contest is to celebrate SLU!

The cow was crafted using a mixture of fiberglass and resin. The surface has already been prepped with a coat of primer applied by the manufacturer. Acrylic paint, artificial resin paint, or two-component paint can be used to paint or spray a design(s) on the cow.

Items may be attached to the cow, but will need to be attached securely. Additionally, the structural integrity of the cow must not be compromised, nor can its pose be altered.

Designs should take into account the cow's dimensions: 95" long x 29" wide x 57" high, with a girth of 83" around the stomach.

When creating a design, please take into account outdoor elements such as rain, wind, dirt, etc., as the finished piece may be placed outdoors.
